Hon. Namal Rajapaksa,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of Mahindyodaya laboratories that had been planned to be constructed;
(ii) of the number of Mahindyodaya laboratories that have been constructed at present; and
(iii) out of the Mahindyodaya laboratories that have already been constructed, the number of those that have been vested with the students as of now; and
in the Hambantota District under 1000 Mahindyodaya schools programme?
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) of the number of Mahindyodaya Technological Laboratories that had been planned to be constructed;
(ii) of the number of Mahindyodaya Technological Laboratories that have been constructed at present; and
(iii) out of the Mahindyodaya Technological Laboratories that have already been constructed, the number of those that have been vested with the students as of now; and
in the Hambantota District under the programme to construct Mahindyodaya Technological Laboratories (three-storey buildings) for the Technology Stream?
(c) If not, why?

(3ක් තීන්ත ආලේපය ආදී නිමකිරීම් වැඩ, 1ක් වහලේ වැඩ) තංගල්ල බාලිකා විද්යාලය වෙනත් ස්ථානයක ස්ථාපනය කිරීමේ අමාත්ය මණ්ඩල අනුමැතිය වෙනස් කරන තෙක් ඉදිකිරීම් කර නැත. නමුත් හම්බන්තොට දිස්ත්රික් කමිටු රැස්වීමේදී ගත් තිරණ අනුව හ/තංගල්ල බාලිකා විද්යාලය වෙනත් ස්ථානයක ස්ථාපනය කිරිමේ අවශ්යතාවක් නොමැති බව දකුණු පළාත් අධ්යපාන අධ්යක්ෂ විසින් දන්වා ඇත.
ඒ අනුව එම විද්යාලය දැනට පවතින ස්ථානයෙන් වෙනත් ස්ථානයක ස්ථාපනය කිරිමට අංක 14/0841/530/028 හා 2014.07.13 දිනැතිව ලබා දුන් අමාත්ය මණ්ඩල තිරණය සංශෝධනය කිරිම සඳහා අමාත්ය මණ්ඩලය වෙත අමාත්ය මණ්ඩල සටහනක් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට කටයුතු කරමින් පවතී. විස්තර ඇමණුම 03හි* දක්වා ඇත.
(iii) නිමකරන ගොඩනැඟිලිවල විද්යාගාර සහ පන්ති පැවැත්වීමට අනුමැතිය ලබා දී ඇත.
(ඇ) අදාළ නොවේ.
