Hon. Bandula Gunawardana,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is satisfied with the adequacy of foreign reserves of Sri Lanka in terms of risk weighted system; and
(ii) the adequacy of foreign reserves under floating exchange ratio method in respect of each year from the year 2000 to 2014 as per the data of variables X, STD, OPL and M2 in applying the new system of risk weighted of the International Monetary Fund?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the adequacy of foreign reserves of Sri Lanka during the first 9 months of the year 2015; and
(ii) the major causes that impacted on this situation?
(c) If not, why?
