Hon. Lucky Jayawardana,— To ask the Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that there are low income families who did not receive Divineguma allowances on political grounds under the former government;
(ii) if so, whether speedy action will be taken to provide those allowances to them; and
(iii) if so, the date on which it will be done?
(b) Will he table—
(i) the number of low income families throughout the island who receive the allowances provided by the Divineguma Development Department;
(ii) the total value of the monthly allowances provided to those people;
(iii) whether those allowances have been divided into categories;
(iv) the allowances provided to each party according to the categories mentioned in (iii) above ;
(v) the number of families in the island receiving allowances according to the categories, separately;
(vi) whether the allowances provided to the Divineguma recipients have been increased by Good Governance established on 08th January 2015; and
(vii) if so, the increased monthly allowances as per each category separately?
(c) If not, why?

(අ) (i) විවිධ හේතු නිසා දිවි නැඟුම දීමනා/සහනාධාර නොලබන අඩු ආදායම්ලාභී පවුල් සිටින බව පිළිගනිමි. එම නිසා සහනාධාර ලැබිය යුතු අඩු ආදායම්ලාභීන් හඳුනාගැනීමේ දීප ව්යාප්ත සමීක්ෂණයක් සිදුකිරීමට දැනට පියවර ගෙන ඇත.
(ii) ඉහත (අ) (i) පරිදි සහනාධාර ලැබිය යුතු අඩු ආදායම්ලාභී පවුල් හඳුනා ගැනීමට 2015.03.11 දින අමාත්ය මණ්ඩල තීරණය අනුව සමීක්ෂණයක් කිරීමට අවශ්ය කටයුතු කර ඇත. මෙම දීමනා ලබා දීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සියලු තොරතුරු ඇතුළත් කර රාජ්ය පුවත් පත් වන දිණමිණ, ඩේලි නිවුස්, තිනකරන් යන පුවත් පත්වල දැන්වීමක් ලෙස 2015.10.28 දින පළ කරන ලද අතරම, මේ වන විට සමීක්ෂණය සිදු කිරීමට අවශ්ය නිලධාරින් පුහුණු කිරීමේ කටයුතු දිස්ත්රික් මට්ටමින් සිදුවේ.
(iii) මෙම සමීක්ෂණය දීප ව්යාප්තව සිදු කරන බැවින් හා ඊට විශාල පවුල් ප්රමාණයක් අදාළ වන නිසා සමීක්ෂණය මඟින් ලබා ගන්නා දත්ත හා තොරතුරු මත දිනය තීරණය කරනු ඇත. (අදාළ තොරතුරු ඇමුණුම 01 වශයෙන් සභාගත* කරමි.)
(ආ) (i) 2015 නොවැම්බර් මසට අදාළව දිවි නැඟුම සහනාධාර ලබාදෙන පවුල් 1,456,583කි. දිස්ත්රික් වශයෙන් ප්රතිලාභීන්ගේ ප්රමාණයන් ඇමුණුම 02 වශයෙන් ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත. ඇමුණුම 02 සභාගත* කරමි.
(ii) රුපියල් 3,475,993,860ක මුළු මාසික වටිනාකමක් දීමනා ලෙස ප්රතිලාභීන් වෙත ලබා දෙයි. මෙම ඇමුණුම් 02 අනුව ලබා දෙන දීමනාවන්ගේ වටිනාකම් හා ප්රතිලාභීන් සංඛ්යාව සඳහන් කර ඇත.
(iii) ඔව්. මෙම කාණ්ඩ පවුලේ සාමාජික සංඛ්යාව පදනම් කර ගෙන පහත පරිදි කාණ්ඩගත කර ඇත.
