Hon. T.B. Ekanayake,— To ask the Minister of Housing and Samurdhi,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the 200% increase of Samurdhi allowance benefits effected through the Interim Budget will be given to people;
(ii) whether the Samurdhi beneficiary lists will be revised in giving those benefits;
(iii) if so, whether the revisions will be put into effect at Grama Niladhari Division level; and
(iv) what methodology/criteria will be followed in selecting beneficiaries for the value bands of allowance instruments?
(b) If not why?
