Hon. Sunil Handunnetti,— To ask the Minister of Finance ,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) whether promotions have been granted to a group of employees of National Savings Bank to Grade III-II with effect from 01.07.2013;
(ii) whether a list of names of the recipients of such promotions will be tabled;
(iii) whether he is aware that some employees who should have been granted promotions in granting the above promotions have been overlooked;
(iv) whether a group of employees who have retired before the relevant date too have been granted promotions; and
(v) whether he is aware that there is no possibility of granting promotions as indicated in (iv) above?
(b) If not, why?

2013.07.01 දින සිට බලපැවැත්වෙන පරිදි බැංකු සේවකයින් එකසිය තිස්නව දෙනෙකු අධීක්ෂණ නිලධාරි (III-III ශ්රේණිය) තනතුරේ සිට විධායක නිලධාරි (III-II ශ්රේණිය) තනතුර දක්වා උසස් කර ඇත.
(ii) ඔව්.
ඇමුණුම 01හි දක්වා ඇත. ඇමුණුම සභාගත* කරමි.
(iii) නැත.
(iv) ඔව්.
(v) මෙම සේවකයින් විශ්රාම යාමට පෙර III-II ශ්රේණියට උසස් කිරීම සඳහා වූ සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණයට පෙනී සිටින ලද අතර, එහිදී ඔවුන් කඩඉම් ලකුණ ඉක්මවා ලකුණු ලබාගෙන තිබූ බැවින්, III-II ශ්රේණිය වෙත උසස් කිරීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලබා තිබුණි.
