Hon. Duleep Wijesekera,— To ask the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House of —
(i) the number of tanks and reservoirs selected for launching the five year programme to develop fresh water fish and aqua culture production capacity; and
(ii) the chosen varieties of fresh water fish due to be released to the said reservoirs?
(b) Will he inform this House of —
(i) the number of fresh water fish and prawns due to be released, separately;
(ii) the value of the said fish and prawns; and
(iii) the annual expected harvest of fresh water fish and prawns, after releasing the said aqua culture stock?
(c) If not, why?
