Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House of—
(i) the breakdown of the number of aesthetic teachers as per the subjects of music, dancing, art and drama and theatre who retired during the period from the year 2010 to 2013 having served in schools coming under the purview of the North Western Provincial Council;
(ii) the number of aesthetic teachers recruited during the said period for the above subject; and
(iii) the number of teachers serving in the schools of the North Western Province who were due to retire in the year 2014?
(b) If not, why?
