Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Social Services, Welfare and Livestock Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a methodology is put in place for establishing Village Elders Committees;
(ii) the number of Village Elders Committees that have been established so far;
(iii) the number of Village Elders Committees established in the Kurunegala District; and
(iv) whether allocations and physical resources are provided by the government for those Elders Committees?
(b) If not, why?

එක් ග්රාම නිලධාරි වසමක් සඳහා එක් කමිටුවක් පමණක් පිහිටුවීම.
අදාළ වසම තුළ ස්ථිර පදිංචි, අවුරුදු 60 සම්පූර්ණ කරන ලද පුද්ගලයන්ට ග්රාමීය වැඩිහිටි කමිටුවල සාමාජිකත්වය ලබා ගත හැක.
(ii) 11,494.
(iii) 1,517.
(iv) සෑම ග්රාමීය වැඩිහිටි කමිටුවක් සඳහාම එක් වතාවක් පමණක් ගෙවනු ලබන රුපියල් 5,000.00 ආධාර මුදලක් ලබා දෙනු ලැබේ.
(ආ) පැන නොනඟී.
