Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will she inform this House—
(i) of the amount of loans that has been provided to the Ceylon Electricity Board by the Treasury by now;
(ii) whether the Ceylon Electricity Board has obtained loans from Commercial Banks;
(iii) if so, that amount of money; and
(iv) whether measures will be taken to run Ceylon Electricity Board in a state in which there is neither profit nor loss?
(b) If not, why?
