Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Defence,—

(a) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether the programme for granting an allowance of one hundred thousand rupees for the birth of the third child of the families of security force personnel, implemented as per a proposal of the 2011 budget, is still in operation; and

(ii) of the procedure to be adopted by a member of security forces to receive the above allowance in respect of the birth of the third child?

(b) If not, why?

(අ) (i) නැත. 2011 අය වැය යෝජනාවක් අනුව හමුදා සෙබළ සෙබළියන්ගේ පවුල්වල ආර්ථික දුෂ්කරතා විසඳීමට සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල් පරිසරය ගොඩ නැඟීම සඳහා තුන් අවුරුදු වැඩ පිළිවෙළක් ලෙස ඔවුනට උපදින තුන්වන දරුවා සඳහා රුපියල් 100,000ක ආධාරයක් දීම ක්‍රියාත්මක විය. මෙය විශේෂ ව්‍යාපෘතියක් ලෙස 2011, 2012, 2013 වසරවල ඉපදුණු තුන්වන දරුවන් සඳහා ක්‍රියාත්මක විය.

(ii) ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාවේ සේවය කරනු ලබන අයගේ පවුල්වල උපත ලබන තුන්වන දරුවාට හිමි රුපියල් 100,000ක ප්‍රතිලාභ මුදල පහත සඳහන් කරුණු සනාථ කර ගැනීමෙන් පසුව, එම ළමයාගේ නමින් වූ ජාතික ඉතිරිකිරීමේ බැංකුවේ, ලංකා බැංකුවේ හෝ මහජන බැංකුවේ ගිණුමකට බැර කරනු ලැබේ.

1. දරු උපතේදී පියා/මව රාජකාරියේ යෙදී සිටින රණවිරුවෙකුද යන වග

2. දරුවාගේ උප්පැන්න සහතිකය

3. තුන්වන දරුවා බවට සහතික කර ගැනීම (පළමුවන හා දෙවන දරුවන්ගේ උප්පැන්න සහතික ලබා ගැනීම මඟින් හෝ ග්‍රාම නිලධාරී මඟින්)

(ආ) පැන නොනඟී.
