0084/’10 Hon. Ajith Kumara,— To ask the Minister of Postal Services,— Will he inform this House — of the number of post offices, sub post offices, Agency and Rural post offices in the Tangalle Divisional Secretariat Division ; Offices that distribute letters, out of the above; and separately of the area and the number of people being served by each of the above post offices and the number of units earned by them last year ? Will he state — the number of zones for the aforesaid post office area, the required number of postmen and telegraph messengers and the number of vacancies on those posts as at 30.06.2009; the dates on which those vacancies occurred; the date the zones were last revised; the names of the Grama Niladhari divisions and villages which have not been provided with postal facilities in the aforesaid Divisional Secretariat division; and the period with in which postal facilities will be provided to them ? If not ,why?
