Hon. (Mrs.) Thalatha Atukorale,— To ask the Minister of Postal Services,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the normal rates charged to send a telegram;and
(ii) the rates charged for the tele-mail service?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he admits that according to the Establishments Code the accepted system to inform officially about the public servants inability to report for duty is the telegram service; and
(ii) whether the public servants have been given the opportunity to use a proper tele-mail system instead of this?
(c) If not, why?
