Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare,—
(a) Is he aware that the workers, who have been sent to foreign countries by many foreign employment agencies saying that they will be directed to specific jobs with high salaries, end up in employments with low salaries?
(b) Will he inform this House of the legal steps that have been taken by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment against the Employment Agencies who send workers abroad providing false information?
(c) If not, why?
