Hon. Vijitha Berugoda,— To ask the Minister of Water Supply and Drainage,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the objective of the project for providing water purification facilities to Moratuwa/Panadura, Ambatale and Negombo areas of which the work has been completed at present;
(ii) the areas that have been covered under the aforesaid project;
(iii) the date of completion of work of the aforesaid project;
(iv) the number of beneficiaries under the aforesaid project;
(v) the amount of money that was spent on the aforesaid project; and
(vi) the names of the institutes by which the aforesaid money was spent ?
(b) If not, why ?

(අ) (i) මොරටුව, පානදුර,රත්මලාන දෙහිවල හා මීගමුව යන ප්රදේශවල පවතින නාගරීකරණය සහ වර්ධනය වන ජනගහනය නිසා පැවති ජල සැපයුම ප්රමාණවත් නොවීම මත එකී ජල සැපයුම වැඩි දියුණු කර එම ජනතාව වෙත පිරිසිදු පානීය ජලය සැපයීම.
(ii) මොරටුව,පානදුර,රත්මලාන, දෙහිවල හා මීගමුව යන ප්රදේශයන් ආවරණය වේ.
(iii) අඹතලේ නව ජල පවිත්රාගාරය 2010.12.01 දින වන විට වැඩ අවසන් කරන ලද අතර, මීගමුව ජලපවිත්රාගාරය හා එයට අනුබද්ධ ප්රධාන නල මාර්ග හා බෙදා හැරීමේ නල මාර්ග සහිත මුළු ව්යාපෘතිය 2011.09.21 දින වන විට වැඩ අවසන් කරන ලදි.
(iv) මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය මගින් ප්රතිලාභ ලැබූ මුළු සංඛ්යාව 123304 කි. එමඟින් පානදුර ප්රදේශයේ අලුතින් ජල සම්බන්ධතා 10090ක් ද,දෙහිවල ප්රදේශයේ 5106ක් ද , මොරටුව ප්රදේශයේ 10994ක් හා මීගමුව ප්රදේශයේ නව සම්බන්ධතා 5614ක් ලබා දී ඇත.
(v) මෙම ව්යාපෘති සඳහා රුපියල් මිලයන 8920 වැය කර ඇත. වියදම් දැරූ ආකාරය පහත දැක්වේ.
* ස්පාඤ්ඤ රජය රුපියල් මිලියන 1827.5
* නෙදර්ලන්ත රජය රුපියල් මිලියන 5416
* දේශීය අරමුදල් රුපියල් මිලියන 1676.5
(vi) ස්පාඤ්ඤ රජය, නෙදර්ලන්ත රජය හා දේශීය අරමුදල් මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය සඳහා වැය කරන ලදි.
(ආ) පැන නොනගී.
