Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Minister of Petroleum Industries,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the average import price (CIF Value) per Metric ton at which petrol was imported within February 2013;
(ii) the approximate volume of a Metric ton of petrol in litres;
(iii) as such, the average price of a litre of petrol as it is unloaded at the port in February 2013;
(iv) the amounts of different taxes charged by the government on each litre of petrol, separately;
(v) the profit derived by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation from each litre of petrol; and
(vi) the distribution cost of a litre of petrol and the profit derived by the filling station by selling a litre of petrol?
(b) If not, why?
