Hon. Buddhika Pathirana— To ask the Minister of Investment Promotion,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of foreign investments received by Sri Lanka from the year 2011 up to now ;
(ii) the total amount of investments separately on those per year basis; and
(iii) the industries or services in which these funds have been invested in?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the concessions that have been granted to encourage the foreign investors;
(ii) whether lands were provided by the government to them in the years 2010, 2012, and 2013 to establish their industries or work places;
(iii) if so, the basis on which those lands were provided; and
(iv) the districts in which the lands so provided are located along with the extent of the land, its name and address separately?
(c) If not, why?
