Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which the Gampaha Railway Station was constructed;
(ii) the number of times it has been renovated by now, since the date on which it was constructed; and
(iii) the date on which it was renovated last ?
(b) Will he inform this House with regard to the Gampaha Railway Station—
(i) the number of passengers travelling towards Kandy and Colombo from the aforesaid Railway Station per day;
(ii) the gross daily income;
(iii) the monthly income;
(iv) the monthly proceeds from the season tickets;
(v) the gross monthly income from parcels; and
(vi) the number of ticket counters available ?
(c) Will he also state—
(i) the number of official railway quarters constructed at Gampaha; and
(ii) whether the construction work of the aforesaid quarters has been completed?
(d) If not, why ?
