Hon. Arjuna Sujeewa Senasinghe, Attorney at Law,— To ask the Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether any approved/gazetted development plan under the Urban Development Authority Law, No. 41 of 1978, or any other applicable law, is in force within the areas of the Ja-Ela Urban Council, Ja-Ela Dadugam Peruma Pradeshiya Sabha, Minuwangoda Urban Council, Katunayake-Seeduwa Urban Council, Negombo Municipal Council, Katana Pradeshiya Sabha and Gampaha Municipal Council;
(ii) if so, of the name, legal basis and date of approval/gazetting of each such plan;
(iii) whether copies of those plans will be tabled;
(iv) whether any draft development plan has been submitted for those areas;
(v) if so, of the current status and the authority to which such plans have been submitted;
(vi) whether copies thereof will be tabled;
(vii) whether any zoning plans or regulations (approved, gazetted or in draft form) are applicable for those areas;
(viii) if so, of their legal authority and approval status; and
(ix) whether copies thereof will be tabled?
(b) If not, why?
