Hon. Lasith Bhashana Gamage,— To ask the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether any complaints have been received by the police from the depositors of Gampaha Sanasa Development Bank who have suffered injustices;
(ii) if so, of the number of such complaints;
(iii) separately, of the date on which each of the said complaints was received by the police;
(iv) of the progress of the investigations conducted by the police so far regarding the said complaints;
(v) whether any complaints have been received by the police regarding the Gampaha Development Company (PVT) Ltd, (GDC), which has obtained a loan from the Gampaha Sanasa Development Bank; and
(vi) if so, of the progress of the investigations conducted by the police so far regarding the said complaints?
(b) If not, why?
