Hon. Thilina Samarakoon,— To ask the Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply,—(1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of housing projects implemented by the National Housing Development Authority in the Anuradhapura District during the period from 2015 to 2019;
(ii) amount of money provided by the National Housing Development Authority as aids and loans for the said projects separately;
(iii) number of beneficiaries selected for those projects and the methodology used in selecting them;
(iv) number of houses expected to be constructed through the said projects;
(v) number of houses that have been completed by now, out of the above houses, separately as per each project;
(vi) reasons for the failure to complete the constructions, if constructions have not been completed yet; and
(vii) issues that have arisen regarding the lands used for the housing projects?
(b) If not, why?
