Hon. (Mrs.) Oshani Umanga,— To ask the Minister of Labour,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the average time taken by the Complaints Division of the Department of Labour to resolve a complaint;
(ii) of the number of unsolved complaints currently pending in the aforesaid division;
(iii) whether steps are being taken to resolve these complaints, expeditiously and effectively; and
(iv) if so, of the aforesaid steps?
(b) If not, why?
