Hon. (Dr.) Nandana Millagala,— To ask the Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure,—(1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the name of the present owner of the Nagastenna Estate in Yatiyanthota;
(ii) whether the management of the said estate is at an optimal level;
(iii) whether he is aware that the lands of the said estate are being encroached by private parties;
(iv) if so, of the measures that have been taken in that regard; and
(v) of the measures that have been taken to develop the lands of the said estate, which are economically, environmentally and socially valuable?
(b) If not, why?
