Hon. Lasith Bhashana Gamage,— To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) total number of employees currently serving at the District General Hospital in Gampaha;
(ii) number of existing vacancies at that hospital, specified separately for each post; and
(iii) steps that have been taken to fill those vacancies;
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) whether he is aware that the said hospital does not have a standardized quality controlled drug store;
(ii) if so, of the measures that have been taken to establish a standardized quality controlled drug store;
(iii) of the average number of patients who receive treatment at the hospital daily and monthly, separately;
(iv) whether he is aware that a master plan has been prepared for that hospital; and
(v) accordingly, of the number of patients that can be treated at the hospital’s maximum efficiency?
(c) If not, why?
