Hon. Chanaka Madugoda,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House of the —
(i) reasons for not selecting the Southern Province for the Special Project for the Development of Sports Schools under the Budget for the year 2025;
(ii) amount that was allocated for the said project under the Budget for the year 2025;
(iii) amount that has been spent out of the said amount as of August 2025; and
(iv) basis on which only five provinces were selected for the said Special Project for the Development of Sports Schools?
(b) If not, why?
