Hon. Upul Kithsiri,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House—
(i) of the number of principals currently serving in each grade of the Sri Lanka Principal Service, Grades I, II and III, and the number of vacancies existing in each grade, separately;
(ii) of the number of principals in each of the said grades who will be 57 years old as at 30.09.2025, separately;
(iii) of the number of principals who are currently working on the basis of covering up duties but do not belong to the Principal Service; and
(iv) whether a programme will be prepared to absorb them into the relevant grades based on their qualifications?
(b) If not, why?
