Hon. Upul Kithsiri,—To ask the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of International Cricket Stadiums in Sri Lanka;
(ii) of the total number of stadiums, which do not meet international standards, but are equipped with pitches suitable for leather ball cricket;
(iii) of the number of school stadiums with pitches that can be used to play leather ball cricket in each district, separately; and
(iv) whether the Sri Lanka Cricket Board is able to provide sponsorship to promote school cricket?
(b) If not, why?
