Hon. Nishantha Perera,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (2)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) of the non-government schools located within the Elpitiya Education Zone;
(ii) of the founding year of each of these schools and the names of their governing board members, separately;
(iii) of the government authorities tasked with the supervision of the said schools;
(iv) whether the Ministry of Education of the Central Government or the Provincial Ministry of Education has received public complaints regarding the aforementioned schools; and
(v) of the measures that have been taken to ensure the quality of education provided by those schools and to protect the rights of students in those schools?
(b) If not, why?
