Hon. Ajith Gihan,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he state—
(i) the names of the lands which have been allocated for investment projects from the lands belonging to the Land Reform Commission in the Puttalam District;
(ii) the investment project for which each plot of land has been provided, the extent of the land and the respective Divisional Secretariat Division in which it is located, separately;
(iii) whether the due lease for the above-mentioned lands have been properly paid;
(iv) if not, whether the lease payments have been defaulted;
(v) whether the above-mentioned lands provided for investment projects have been developed;
(vi) whether underdeveloped lands have been identified among those lands; and
(vii) if the above-mentioned lands provided for investment projects have not been properly developed or if lease payments have been defaulted, whether such lands will be repossessed?
(b) Will he also state—
(i) the total extent of land belonging to the above Commission in the Puttalam District, according to each Divisional Secretariat Division, separately; and
(ii) whether those lands will be provided for the construction of houses?
(c) If not, why?
