Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake, — To ask the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, — (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the types of allowances that are currently paid to the staff of Sri Lankan Airlines;
(ii) of the amounts that are paid for each type of allowance separately;
(iii) whether accommodation allowance is paid to the crew members on overseas trips;
(iv) of the types of the said accommodation allowances;
(v) of the amount of money regarding that;
(vi) whether meals are provided to the crew members during the flight;
(vii) if not, whether an allowance is paid for the same; and
(viii) if so, of the amount of the said allowance?
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) of the manner in which the administrative affairs of the said company are being carried out without a Chief Executive Officer; and
(ii) of the name of the person who is responsible for the same?
(c) If not, why?
