Hon. Nanda Bandara,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the total extent of the lands in hectares in the Kegalle District owned by the Land Reform Commission;
(ii) of the extent of those lands that have been allocated for industrial purposes as of now;
(iii) of the name of the persons to whom each of those lands were given, and the year in which each land was granted, separately;
(iv) of the extent of lands which have not used for any development activity in hectares from among those mentioned in (i) above;
(v) whether any alternative lands have been distributed out of the lands referred to in (i) above; and
(vi) of the names of the individuals by whom such alternative lands have been received?
(b) If not, why?
