Hon. Suranga Rathnayaka,— To ask the Minister of Energy,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of units of electricity per day that are generated by solar panels and added to the national grid in Sri Lanka, in megawatts;
(ii) of the price paid per megawatt;
(iii) whether the said price has been reduced by now;
(iv) if so, of the new price; and
(v) of the plan adopted to encourage generation of electricity through solar panels in future?
(b) If not, why?
