Hon. Suranga Rathnayaka,— To ask the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of ‘Aswesuma’ beneficiaries in Sri Lanka at present;
(ii) whether the ‘Aswesuma’ benefit is provided to all persons who are eligible to it;
(iii) whether steps are being taken to grant the benefit to those eligible persons who are not yet receiving it; and
(iv) if so, of the date from which the benefit will be provided to them?
(b) If not, why?
