Hon. Suranga Rathnayaka,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (3)
(a) Will she inform this House of the —
(i) number of unemployed graduates in Sri Lanka as at 01.01.2025;
(ii) number of jobs that have been granted to graduates by the present Government;
(iii) number of the jobs referred to above, separately according to each field or sector; and
(iv) future plan to be adopted in granting employment to unemployed graduates?
(b) Will she also inform this House —
(i) of the number of government teacher vacancies existing at present;
(ii) whether an expedited course of action has been made to fill the vacancies; and
(iii) if so, of the course of action concerned above?
(c) If not, why?
