Hon. Nishantha Perera,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether lands belonging to the Land Reform Commission in the Galle district have been allotted for industries;
(ii) if so, of the individuals/companies to whom the aforesaid lands have been allotted and the industries to which the said lands have been assigned, separately as per each Divisional Secretariat Division;
(iii) of the industries that are currently operational out of the aforesaid industries;
(iv) of the industries that are not currently operational, if any;
(v) whether proper measures will be taken regarding the lands which were allotted for industries which are not currently operational; and
(vi) if so, of those measures?
(b) If not, why?
