Hon. (Prof.) L.M. Abeywickrama,— To ask the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) total amount of money spent on the construction of the SAARC Cultural Centre, in Navimana, Matara, whereas the construction work of which has been halted and which is not currently in use;
(ii) institutions that have borne the aforesaid financial cost;
(iii) annual cost incurred on maintenance and security of the aforesaid building complex; and
(iv) existing plan for the utilization of the aforesaid building complex?
(b) If not, why?
