Hon. Ajith Gihan,—To ask the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs,— (1)
(a) Is he aware of that—
(i) narcotics, intoxicants and other substances were illegally brought into the country from the coastal belt of the Puttalam District during recent past; and
(ii) the illegal activities referred to above are still being carried out?
(b) If so, will he inform this House of the measures that will be taken to prevent the situation referred to above ?
(c) If not, why?
