Hon. Lal Premanath,—To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of hospitals belonging to the Central Government and to the Provincial Council in each Divisional Secretariat Division of the Matara District, the grade to which each of those hospitals belongs according to the Government Hospital Grading System, and the number of individuals receiving services from each of those hospitals, separately;
(ii) whether he accepts that the Deniyaya Base Hospital, in the Kotapola Divisional Secretariat Division is a hospital that is more than 100 years old;
(iii) whether he is aware that the hospital referred to above is currently faced with the risk of landslides and is in a very vulnerable state; and
(iv) if so, of steps that have been taken in this regard?
(b) If not, why?
