Hon. Sujeewa Dissanayake,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House of the —
(i) classification of Pirivenas in Sri Lanka;
(ii) number of subjects taught in the Pirivenas;
(iii) subjects so taught; and
(iv) number of students currently studying in the above-mentioned Pirivenas?
(b) Will she also inform this House —
(i) of the amount of money that has been allocated for Pirivena Education in the budget 2025; and
(ii) whether the curriculum of Pirivena education will be revised under the new education reforms?
(c) If not, why?
