Hon. Susantha Kumara Nawarathna,—To ask the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) institutions which function under the Public Security section of the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs;
(ii) number of investigations that have been conducted by the institutions concerned after the present government came to power;
(iii) matters regarding which the investigations concerned have been conducted;
(iv) number of persons arrested so far pursuant to the investigations concerned, in respect of each such investigation separately;
(v) number of cases that have been filed pursuant to the investigations concerned; and
(vi) number of arms and ammunitions that have been taken into custody in respect of each such investigation, separately?
(b) If not, why?
