Hon. (Mrs.) Chamindranee Kiriella, Attorney at Law,— To ask the Minister of Women and Child Affairs,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House of the —
(i) number of incidents of domestic violence on women that were reported in Sri Lanka in each of the years from 2015 up to the present, separately;
(ii) measures that are taken to prevent incidents of domestic violence on women; and
(iii) measures that are taken to expedite the legal action with regard to incidents of domestic violence on women?
(b) If not, why?
