Hon. (Mrs.) Chamindranee Kiriella, Attorney at Law,— To ask the Minister of Justice and National Integration,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of inmates currently kept at the Dumbara Prison in Pallekele;
(ii) detention capacity of the prison concerned; and
(iii) measures that will be taken to expedite the new constructions of that prison and to reduce the current overcrowding in the prison?
(b) If not, why?
