Hon. W. H. M. Dharmasena,— To ask the Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) extent of lands owned by the state plantation companies in the Monaragala district, separately as per each company;
(ii) extent of lands and the names of the companies/institutions that have obtained the sub-leases, separately, if the lands owned by the companies referred to above have been sub-leased;
(iii) amount of tax revenue received for the lands which were sub-leased, from the year 2015 to this day, separately as per each year; and
(iv) measures that will be taken to collect the tax revenue referred to above, properly?
(b) If not, why?
