Hon. (Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) of the number of officers of the Sri Lanka Educational Administrative Service and the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service whose salary increments have been suspended by now, separately in respect of each service;
(ii) of the name of each such officer, the date on which increment was suspended, and the reason for each suspension, separately;
(iii) whether she is aware that the restoration of these salary increments is proceeding quite slowly; and
(iv) of the measures that will be taken to expedite the inquiries concerning these officers, granting them with their increments without further delay, to ensure that justice is served?
(b) If not, why?
