Hon. Mujibur Rahman,— To ask the Minister of Justice and National Integration,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) date on which a committee was last appointed to study the issue of overcrowding in prisons in Sri Lanka;
(ii) names of the members of that committee;
(iii) recommendations made by that committee to reduce overcrowding in prisons; and
(iv) measures that will be taken to implement those recommendations?
(b) If not, why?
