Hon. Hector Appuhamy,—To ask the Minister of Environment,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether he is aware that because of the burning of coal at the Norochcholai Coal Power plant, the residents living in the surrounding villages are facing numerous environmental issues; and
(ii) of the measures that will be taken to resolve such environmental issues?
(b) If not, why?
