Hon. Hector Appuhamy,— To ask the Minister of Energy,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) income generated from selling the ash collecting after combustion of coal at the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant in each of the years from 2015 to the present, separately;
(ii) method that was followed in the sale of the ash; and
(iii) amount allocated from the revenue so generated for the welfare of the local residents who are settled in the vicinity of the power plant and affected by environmental problems?
(b) If not, why?
