Hon. (Dr.) Kavinda Heshan Jayawardhana,— To ask the Minister of Environment,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the project to create an artificial coastal belt in Mount Lavinia was initiated;
(ii) of the objectives of the project concerned;
(iii) of the amount of money that has been spent on the project so far;
(iv) whether he is aware that the project has been stopped partway as of now; and,
(v) of the measures that will be taken regarding the future activities of the project?
(b) If not, why?
