Hon. Kins Nelson,— To ask the Minister of Defence,— (2)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of disaster incidents reported in Sri Lanka, the number of individuals affected by the disasters, and the amount of compensation paid to the individuals so affected in each year from the year 2015 up to now, separately;
(ii) of the amount of money spent on disaster management from the year 2015 up to now;
(iii) whether he is aware that many countries around the world pay special attention to disaster management; and
(iv) of the measures that have been taken by Sri Lanka regarding disaster management?
(b) If not, why?
