Hon. Chanaka Madugoda,— To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether he accepts that the office rent allowance currently paid to a sub-post master is not adequate to maintain a sub-post office;
(ii) whether the impediments to increasing the said rent allowance have been identified;
(iii) if so, of such impediments;
(iv) of the measures that will be adopted to overcome the impediments; and
(v) of the time that will be needed for adopting such measures?
(b) If not, why?
