Hon. Ruwan Wijeweera,—To ask the Minister of Environment,— (1)
(a) Will he state —
(i) of the extent of land that belonged to the Department of Forest Conservation from 2020 to 2024 in Hectares in relation to each year, separately;
(ii) of the reasons that have led to the change of the extent of land belong to the Department of Forest Conservation;
(iii) of the primary role of the Department of Forest Conservation; and
(iv) whether there are provisions for the lands of that Department to be used for common public purposes?
(b) If not, why?
